Built in 1932.(with no major renovations since)
As the only free Healthcare facility in the region providing free surgery, maternity services, distributing ARV’s for HIV/ AIDS patients, GRRH serves the entire population of Gulu District.
Because of the 21 year long conflict in Northern Uganda, many of the healthcare facilities have been left in dire condition with no attention or plan for renovations.
Respond Restoring Northern Uganda’s Healthcare (R. ReNUH) has committed to improving the conditions of the hospital and by doing so, improving the lives of the thousands it serves. Gulu Regional Referral Hospital (GRRH) has specifically requested our help in aiding the Surgical Ward with small renovations and assistance in equipping and supplying the surgical department.
